At the time of
preparing this report there were 1912 single family homes on the
market in the Greater Daytona area (MLS listings as reported by local real
estate board areas 11-48).There were
2285
single family homes on the market this time in 2009 for a drop of
16.12% in the number of homes for sale.
There
were 458 sales of single family homes in the first quarter of
2010 with an average sale price of $164,263.
This compares to 374 sales in the first quarter of 2009 with an
average sale price of $171,580. This is a
increase of
22.46% over 2009 in the number of single family homes sold with
an decrease
in the average sale price of 4.26%!
At
the time of preparing this report there were 9 homes
offered for sale through MLS in Fairway Estates with
2 homes under contract. At the
end of the first quarter of 2010 there were 5 sales with an average sale
price of $111,740. There were 6 sales in the first quarter of 2009 with
the average selling price of
$123,817. The average selling price decreased
9.75% over the same period in
2000 and the number of homes sold decreased by 16.67%.
Homes
listed by Ed Savard in Fairway Estates in the
First Quarter of 2010 sold for
an
average of $113,300 in an average of just 46.67 days. Homes
listed by other agents sold for an average of $109,499
($3900 LESS) and took an
average of 400.50 days to sell. In other words, the homes listed by
other agents took almost NINE times
longer to sell and sold for an average of $3900 (3.56% less)
less than homes listed by Ed Savard.
