My parents are both in their 80’s and it was time for them to move closer to me in Tampa. They needed to sell their home at 1404 Suwanee Road in Fairway Estates in a reasonable amount of time. You met with them and me and answered all of our questions. The particularly tough ones involved listing price and your estimated time to sell. You said that you could guarantee that their home would sell quicker and at a higher price than if we listed with any other realtor. I just assumed that was part of your “sales pitch”.

You listed my parents’ home on a Friday. The following Monday, you presented them with an offer from a buyer. Not only that, but the offer was within 6% of their asking price. You accomplished this during the worst housing crisis in the history of Florida. That was the nuts and bolts of the deal.

The thing that I really want to thank you for involved the level of service you provided throughout the process. You went out of your way to keep my sister and I updated as things occurred so we can better explain to our parents. You adjusted your schedule to accommodate ours. You stopped by the house periodically to let my parents know what was going to happen next. You even went so far as to move up the closing date with less than a week’s notice so my parents would not have to spend an extra 2 nights in a motel. The compassion and caring that you showed for my parents throughout the process exceeded all of our expectations and is just something to which we were not accustomed.

We’d just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for the wonderful experience we had working with you as our realtor. When we saw that the market had really slowed down, we wanted to take advantage of it as a buyer, but in order to do that we needed to sell our current home first. We had heard good things about you through other residents of Fairway Estates and contacted you immediately. We also met with some other agents but knew from the start you were the one we wanted to go with. Your incredible knowledge about real estate market, great personality, and excellent track record sealed the deal for us.

With the market being so slow, we expected our house to be on the market for months, but you sold our home in just 20 DAYS for 98% of our asking price!!!! The biggest mistake we made in selling our house is that we didn’t call you first. As you know, we had our house listed with Adams Cameron for over four months without any success. We were shocked to discover that our agent has had only one sale on the MLS in all of 2007. I guess we should have checked her track record before listing with her.

We know you sell a lot of homes in Fairway Estates, so when our listing expired we called you. You were wonderful and tried to help us in every way.
